Wilmington Point Park
The Gazebo was built and donated by Bruce Gulley
Bruce Gulley was a well-known quality home builder in Wilmington. Bruce served in the Navy during World War II as a combat engineer. He drove sea-based landing craft to deliver combat-ready troops to battles on beaches. After his service in the Navy, he constructed his first home in Wilmington for his family. He then built homes full-time between the age of 30 and 60 for approximately 90 homes. Due to his reputation for quality, homes built by him are most times shown in the listings as "Gulley-built homes". He was a special person always available to help wherever he was needed.
